God blesses those who build His temple.

The Bible says that the church is the body of Jesus.

Therefore, those who repair and build churches receive Jesus' love and blessings.

I hope you all diligently participate in church construction and receive the Lord's love and blessings in abundance.

However, there are those who are uninterested in church building and unwilling to participate.

These believers lack the faith to enter heaven.

In fact, these believers are hated by the Lord and are cursed.

haggai 1:2-6

This is what the LORD Almighty says: "These people say, 'The time has not yet come for the LORD's house to be built.' "

Then the word of the LORD came through the prophet Haggai:

"Is it a time for you yourselves to be living in your paneled houses, while this house remains a ruin?"

Now this is what the LORD Almighty says: "Give careful thought to your ways.

You have planted much, but have harvested little. You eat, but never have enough. You drink, but never have your fill. You put on clothes, but are not warm. You earn wages, only to put them in a purse with holes in it.“

When the existing church building becomes old and cramped, God commands His servant pastor to build or expand a new church building.

When a pastor proclaims God's command to the congregation,

all church members must actively obey the Lord's command.

This command is not limited to pastors; it is given to all church members.

However, the believers are divided into two groups: those who obey the command and those who disobey.

Those who oppose church construction say,

Those who oppose church construction say things like:

"It's not time for our church to be rebuilt yet.“

These people love the world more than God.

God speaks to these believers about their lives:

Your church building is old and cramped, but is it right to expand and decorate your own house?

Consider the lives of those who dislike and delay building the temple.

These believers may sow much seed, but their income will be small.

They may eat much, but their stomachs will not be satisfied.

They may drink much, but their hearts will thirst and remain unsatisfied.

They may wear fine clothes, but their bodies will never be warm.

These believers work hard in worldly affairs, trying to earn and save money for themselves.

However, their savings and wealth will disappear through holes in their wallets and safes.

Their money and wealth will not accumulate. They will be squandered by unexpected illnesses or accidents.

These people buy and take good medicine, but money can't buy health.

They buy expensive beds and sleep on them, but money can't buy deep sleep.

Peace, health, and joy are gifts from God; they're not things humans can possess just because they desire them.

God will never grant peace and joy to those who misuse His grace.

However, those with faith actively participate in the construction of the temple, even in difficult circumstances.

They make the construction of the temple their top priority. They unhesitatingly dedicate their wealth and health to the Lord's work.

haggai 1:7-8

This is what the LORD Almighty says: "Give careful thought to your ways.

Go up into the mountains and bring down timber and build the house, so that I may take pleasure in it and be honored," says the LORD.

The Lord commands these people:

Go up the mountain and bring wood to build My temple.

When you do this, I will be pleased with it and receive much glory.

Going up the mountain and cutting wood to bring to the church means providing all the materials needed to build the temple.

Building concrete pillars, covering the iron roof, building the temple floor, or building the temple wallsthese are all the same tasks as cutting wood from the mountain and building the temple.

Building a temple requires a lot of money.

When believers donate to the various areas the church needs, they receive God's blessing.

Those who don't have money to donate need not worry.

They can actively participate in building the temple with their healthy bodies.

Some people don't have money to donate or are in good health. But they don't need to worry either.

These people just need to pray fervently for the construction of the church.

However, if a believer with sufficient wealth and health does not participate in the construction project,

but only sits at home and prays, the Lord does not accept such prayers.

Prayers that do not put God's Word into practice are counterfeit.

Abraham was recognized as the father of faith because he offered his son Isaac on the altar.

God told Abraham to offer Isaac on the altar to confirm his faith in action.

When Abraham put God's word into practice, the Lord confirmed his faith and prevented him from killing his son.

Everything we do for the Lord is like cutting down trees from the mountain to build the temple.

haggai 1:9-11

"You expected much, but see, it turned out to be little. What you brought home, I blew away. Why?" declares the LORD Almighty. "Because of my house, which remains a ruin, while each of you is busy with his own house.

Therefore, because of you the heavens have withheld their dew and the earth its crops.

I called for a drought on the fields and the mountains, on the grain, the new wine, the oil and whatever the ground produces, on men and cattle, and on the labor of your hands."

You brought much from the world into your homes, but the Lord blew it all away and destroyed it. Why?

The temple of God is old and cramped, yet some believers are unconcerned with the affairs of the church, obsessed only with expanding and splendid their homes.

That is why the rain does not fall from the sky, and the land does not yield its produce.

A severe drought has struck their crops, their new wine has not come, their oil has dried up, and the produce of the land has failed.

Disaster has struck all the works of their hands, and their livestock has suffered and cannot prosper.

haggai 2:15-17

" 'Now give careful thought to this from this day on --consider how things were before one stone was laid on another in the LORD's temple.

When anyone came to a heap of twenty measures, there were only ten. When anyone went to a wine vat to draw fifty measures, there were only twenty.

I struck all the work of your hands with blight, mildew and hail, yet you did not turn to me,' declares the LORD.

Those who dislike and delay building the temple live under a curse.

Their fields, which should have yielded twenty measures, yielded only ten, and their vineyards, which should have yielded fifty vessels of wine, yielded only twenty.

God cursed them in this way because they disobeyed His will.

The Lord earnestly desires that they return to Him through this suffering and curse.

For those who continue to refuse to repent, God's storm, mold, and hail will not cease upon their land.

haggai 2:18-19

'From this day on, from this twenty-fourth day of the ninth month, give careful thought to the day when the foundation of the LORD's temple was laid. Give careful thought:

Is there yet any seed left in the barn? Until now, the vine and the fig tree, the pomegranate and the olive tree have not borne fruit. " 'From this day on I will bless you.' "

But from today, September 24th, I will bless you, for you have begun to build the foundation of God's temple.

When God's people repent and build God's temple, God will begin to bestow blessings.

The poverty, sickness, and curses that have plagued them will disappear.

All the suffering and poverty they have endured due to disobedience will be gone, and all the blessings that come through obedience will come.

Even if they are members of the same church, those who actively participate in the temple construction will receive blessings and life.

Those who oppose the temple construction and do not participate will not receive blessings and life.

You must remain focused on this until the temple construction is completed, and actively participate.

Church members don't always have the opportunity to build a church.

If you miss this special opportunity, it may never come again in your lifetime.

When the opportunity to build a church comes, you must actively participate and receive the Lord's blessing.

The church needs electrical equipment and other furniture.

Those who volunteer to help will receive the Lord's love, health, and material blessings.

I pray in the name of Jesus that all may receive God's abundant blessings.
