John 17:1-3 After Jesus said this, he looked toward heaven and prayed: “Father, the hour has come. Glorify your Son, that your Son may glorify you. For you granted him authority over all people that he might give eternal life to all those you have given him. Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.”

The reason Jesus came to the world is to save all people and bring glory to God. God the Creator created the world and humans beautifully. If humans had obeyed the Word of God, this world would have become a paradise on earth. However, because humans rebelled against the Lord's will, all humans came under the rule of Satan and are destined for hell after living in curses, disease, and death. <u>God took pity on the perishing humans. Therefore, God died on the cross, taking the price of all humans' sins upon Himself.</u> The only God came to the world in the name of the Son, taking on a body. The name of that Son is Jesus Christ. Anyone who believes in Jesus and repents gains the authority to become a child of God. When we command in the name of Jesus, the power of Satan collapses. Satan tempts God’s people to sin and blocks them from repenting of the sins they have committed. Human beings themselves do not have the ability to defeat Satan. However, when we command in Jesus’ name, Satan is bound. When Satan is bound, we achieve complete repentance, obey the Lord’s Word, and obtain salvation. The way to obtain eternal life is to know God and to know Jesus. Believing in the Almighty Creator and washing away sins with the blood of Jesus is salvation. Believing in God who created the world and repenting of the sin of rebelling against God's will is salvation. God's power and Jesus' blood are the basis for our salvation. <u>Believing only in the God of power and not in Jesus means not being saved.</u> Believing in Jesus means believing in Jesus' blood, repenting, and being forgiven of all sins. God saves us with His almighty power and His blood. Eternal life cannot be obtained in any other way. When we realize that Jesus is the Almighty God Himself and repent of our sins, we are forgiven of all our sins by Jesus' blood and receive salvation. Knowing Jesus only as a great man is a faith that cannot save. Because humans cannot save other humans. God the Creator alone creates humans and He alone saves humans. Those who know and believe in Jesus as God receive salvation and bring glory to God.

John 17:7-10 “Now they know that everything you have given me comes from you. For I gave them the words you gave me and they accepted them. They knew with certainty that I came from you, and they believed that you sent me. I pray for them. I am not praying for the world, but for those you have given me, for they are yours. All I have is yours, and all you have is mine. And glory has come to me through them.”

<u>All of Jesus' words are the words of God. This is because Jesus is God Himself who came to the world in human flesh.</u> Since God's existence is Spirit and Word, He is invisible to human eyes. God took on human flesh to bear human sins and die in their place. The name of God who took on flesh is Jesus Christ. God, who spoke as a spiritual being, came to the world in human flesh and spoke to humans. Another name for Jesus is Immanuel, which means God is with His people. Jesus living with His disciples was the Creator God living with them. Therefore, what belongs to Jesus belongs to God, and all that belongs to God belongs to Jesus. All humans are God's because He created them. However, those who do not believe in God and Christians who do not repent of their sins do not follow the Lord's will and therefore belong to the devil. That is why Jesus said He prays for those who repent and follow His words. Those who wash their sins with Jesus' blood and obey His words bring glory to God. <u>Those who have attended church for a long time and have the name of Christian but disobey Jesus' words and do not repent of their sins never belong to God and are not those who bring glory to God.</u>

John 17:11 “I will remain in the world no longer, but they are still in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, protect them by the power of your name, the name you gave me, so that they may be one as we are one.” Jesus prayed that just as God the Father and Jesus Christ are one, the hearts of the disciples would also be united with the Lord's will and all would become one. Those who do not believe in the only God and do not repent of their sins can never be one with the Lord.

John 17:12 “While I was with them, I protected them and kept them safe by that name you gave me. None has been lost except the one doomed to destruction so that Scripture would be fulfilled.” Jesus protected all His disciples, but one of them, Judas Iscariot, perished because he disobeyed the Lord and did not repent. The Lord called Judas Iscariot and made him a disciple to save him. However, he loved the things of the world more than the Lord's words until the end. Today, there are many Christians who live their lives of faith like Judas Iscariot. They say they believe in God, but they love money, worldly pleasures, and fame more than Jesus. These Christians are always proud and have strong self-esteem, so they cannot achieve harmony with others. To go to heaven, you must always humble your pride. You must always strive to have a humble heart, forgive others, repent, and obey the Lord's will. This kind of faith is the grain and the saints who enter heaven.

John 17:16-20 “They are not of the world, even as I am not of it. Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth. As you sent me into the world, I have sent them into the world. For them I sanctify myself, that they too may be truly sanctified. My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message.” All humans are born in sin and live in sin, so all humans automatically belong to the devil. However, anyone who believes in Jesus and repents is liberated from the power of the devil and becomes a child of God. This is the rebirth the Bible speaks of. Satan hates very much that people believe in Jesus and are born again. Therefore, Satan persecutes those who belong to God through those who belong to him. Those who believe in God must be sanctified by the truth. <u>Truth is believing that God the Creator is the sole Savior and obeying God's Word.</u> When a child of God sins, they come under the power of Satan. However, the moment they repent, they return to God's power. When we repent, the blood of Jesus liberates us from the power of Satan. This is how Jesus sanctifies us with the truth. To achieve this truth of salvation, Jesus died on the cross and shed His blood. God the Spirit took on human flesh and came to the world; the God who died on the cross to forgive the sins of mankind is Jesus Christ. Jesus alone is the only Savior; no other Savior exists. This news is not only for the people of Israel. It is news that is spread to the whole world so that all nations can be saved.

Acts 4:12 “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.” Only the words of Jesus should be proclaimed in the church. Preaching doctrines made by humans is to liberate from God's truth. <u>True repentance is not only confessing sins based on Jesus' words but also always striving not to commit the same sins.</u>

John 17:21-26 “...that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one—I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me. Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world. Righteous Father, though the world does not know you, I know you, and they know that you have sent me. I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them.” * Because God is a spiritual being, He is always present throughout the entire universe. That God conceived Himself in the body of the Virgin Mary and was born into the world as a baby. That baby is Jesus Christ. Therefore, the Spirit of Jehovah is within the body of Jesus. Since Jehovah is a holy spirit, He is called the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is both inside and outside Jesus' body. The Holy Spirit is always full in the universe and always rules over the universe and all things. When the Holy Spirit entered Jesus' body, the Holy Spirit who was full in the universe did not disappear. The Holy Spirit transcends time and space; He is always present whenever and wherever. The Creator God should never be compared to creatures limited by time and space. Jesus is in us, and Jehovah God is in Jesus. Therefore, through Jesus, Jehovah is in us. This means our sins disappear through the blood of Jesus, and God comes to dwell in our purified hearts. Through the salvation work of Jesus Christ, God cleanses our hearts, dwells within us, loves us, and leads us to the path of life. People of the world never know God. However, when they believe in Jesus and repent, everyone recognizes the existence of God and obeys His words. When you believe in Jesus and truly repent, everyone's spiritual eyes are opened, and then they believe that God came as Jesus. <u>When you believe in Jesus as the Savior and repent, you receive the Holy Spirit. When you receive the Holy Spirit, you come to know the spiritual world. Those who have a lot of biblical knowledge but do not repent of their sins do not receive the Holy Spirit.</u> The Bible says, “And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, they do not belong to Christ.” All those who do not have the Spirit of Christ belong to Satan; they only maintain a formal faith and go to hell.

John 18:37-40 “You are a king, then!” said Pilate. Jesus answered, “You say that I am a king. In fact, the reason I was born and came into the world is to testify to the truth. Everyone on the side of truth listens to me.” “What is truth?” retorted Pilate. With this he went out again to the Jews gathered there and said, “I find no basis for a charge against him. But it is your custom for me to release to you one prisoner at the time of the Passover. Do you want me to release ‘the king of the Jews’?” They shouted back, “No, not him! Give us Barabbas!” Now Barabbas had taken part in an uprising. * Jesus Christ is the only King who created and rules over all things. However, Jesus is not a king of worldly politics; He is the King who establishes the Kingdom of God. Jesus establishes the Kingdom of God through the truth. The world’s kingdoms follow the law of the jungle, but God's truth is an order where the strong help and serve the weak. Forgiving others, doing good, and achieving harmony is the order of the Kingdom of God. Taking from others and fighting is the disorder of Satan's kingdom. Christians who cannot forgive others, are jealous, resentful, complain, and break harmony do not belong to Jesus but belong to Satan; these church members are like autumn trees without fruit. Why did the elders and Pharisees want to kill Jesus? It was because of their jealousy. Because the people loved and followed Jesus more than the elders and Pharisees, they hated Jesus extremely and demanded Governor Pilate to kill Him. Pilate, sensing this fact, tried very hard to release Jesus as innocent. However, the Jews strongly opposed it. They mobilized a crowd and shouted to kill Jesus and release the murderous robber Barabbas. Pilate could not refuse their unreasonable demand and handed Jesus over to be crucified. How can the elders and Pharisees, who love sin more and hate and oppose the truth, go to heaven? They absolutely cannot. Today, the faith that goes to heaven is obeying the Lord's words and repenting of all sins. <u>Believing in Jesus, the only Savior, is the only truth of salvation. Truth is believing that God the Creator came into the world as Jesus in the flesh.</u> Believing in Jesus means repenting of all sins based on Jesus' words and practicing Jesus' words in our lives. At that time, the elders and Pharisees of Israel had the responsibility to teach and lead the people. However, because they believed in doctrines made by humans, they led God's people to the path of destruction. Today, there are many churches that teach human doctrines rather than the words of the Bible. Human doctrine teaches that humans do not need to obey to be saved. Countless pastors ignore the words of the Bible and follow these human doctrines. Those who want to go to heaven must not believe in the words of humans, but must believe in the truth of Jesus, repent, and obey to go to heaven.

John 19:6-7 As soon as the chief priests and their officials saw him, they shouted, “Crucify! Crucify!” But Pilate answered, “You take him and crucify him. As for me, I find no basis for a charge against him.” The Jews insisted, “We have a law, and according to that law he must die, because he claimed to be the Son of God.” * The chief priests and Pharisees handed Jesus over to Pilate to be judged. Pilate investigated Jesus' actions but found no crime and tried to release Him. At this time, the Jews shouted that He must be killed because He said He was the Son of God. Jesus proclaimed and taught the words of life that save humanity. However, the Jews who did not understand the Bible instead took fault with Jesus' words and considered them a sin to be killed.

Isaiah 9:6 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. It was said in advance in the Old Testament. It was clearly stated that God the Creator would be born into the world as a son to forgive the sins of humans. This was to say in advance that Jesus would come at the time appointed by the Lord. However, because the Jews did not believe these words of the Bible, they tried to kill Jesus. They set aside the words of the Bible and believed in doctrines made by humans.

John 1:14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. <u>God, who created heaven and earth with His word, came to the world in human flesh. To forgive the sins of mankind and save sinners to make them His sons, God came to the world in the name of the Son.</u> If they had recognized and believed the words of the Bible, they would not have killed Jesus for blasphemy. The biggest problem for Christians today is also not recognizing and not believing the words of the Bible. That is why there are so few church members who are saved and go to heaven. Those who walk the narrow path are few, and those who walk the wide path are many. Nowadays, most Christians do not go to church for the purpose of repenting of their sins and obeying the Lord's words to go to heaven. They go to church to be healthy, make money, and have worldly things go well. When you first repent of your sins and obey the Lord's words, the Lord will solve all of human's problems; this principle is Jesus' promise. However, because of the wrong sermons of false prophets, the faith of countless church members does not grow. Because Christians do not believe the Bible and live according to worldly greed, they cannot receive the Lord's answer and go to hell.
