Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day. They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.
The disciples, who had been hiding in fear of death, were filled with the Holy Spirit, and all their fear vanished. They went out into the streets and boldly proclaimed that Jesus is the only Savior and evangelized. Many signs and wonders took place through them. Because the work of the Holy Spirit occurred, three thousand people repented in one day. Even the Jews, who until recently had opposed Jesus and cried out to kill Him, were transformed, and many accepted the gospel. Those moved by the Holy Spirit sold their possessions and donated money to help the poor and support evangelism activities. They gathered together every day to preach the gospel and praise the Lord who saves. Because they performed good deeds for many people, their lives were praised by everyone; their lives became the fragrance of Christ. Those who lead a life of true repentance and obedience are not criticized by unbelievers. This is because everyone welcomes them as they love their neighbors, perform good deeds, and benefit others. It is only normal for today's Christians to love their neighbors and act virtuously like Jesus' disciples to receive praise from them. Christians who always live with pride and selfishness and are criticized by their neighbors are not obeying the Lord's words. Jesus Christ cannot be witnessed through Christians who do not forgive their neighbors and fail to practice love. Such churches, on the contrary, hide the glory of God. Jesus Christ cannot be spread through biblical knowledge without the Holy Spirit or through human words. Jesus is spread through a life that practices love, and the gospel of life is proclaimed. One must receive the fullness of the Holy Spirit through complete repentance. Practice love through the power of the Holy Spirit. Through our good deeds, unbelievers will be moved, and they will voluntarily seek the church and listen to the words of Jesus.

The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified his servant Jesus. You handed him over to be killed, and you disowned him before Pilate, though he had decided to let him go. You disowned the Holy and Righteous One and asked that a murderer be released to you. You killed the author of life, but God raised him from the dead. We are witnesses of this.
The Jews, who boasted that they believed in God well, killed Jesus. Especially the chief priests, Pharisees, and scribes were those who taught the words of God. However, they took the lead and shouted to Pilate to kill Jesus. Pontius Pilate, the governor of Rome, was a Gentile and an unbeliever who did not believe in God. However, at that time, the Jews handed Jesus over to death because of their greed and jealousy. Pilate knew this fact and tried hard to release Jesus. But because of the extreme riot of the crowd, Pilate could not withstand it and sentenced Jesus to death. Pilate made an unjust ruling to maintain his worldly power; it was an unfair judgment. Eventually, God's people and unbelievers joined forces to kill Jesus. Today, many Christians read the Bible and think that the Jews who killed Jesus were very evil and lacked faith. However, many church members today are crucifying Jesus Christ just like the Jews. Now that Jesus has resurrected, He does not reside in a human body; today, we cannot directly nail Jesus' body to the cross like the Jews. Instead, we nail the words of Jesus to the cross. This means not believing in Jesus' words but believing in human doctrines. To ignore Jesus' words is to ignore and kill Jesus. Through the Bible, Jesus cries out to repent. However, church members these days do not repent. Jesus told us to forgive and serve one another, but they do not forgive or serve others. Jesus tells us to go the way of life, but most go the way of death. The narrow path is following only the words of Jesus. It is to discard idols, abandon human pride and fleshly lusts, and daily repent of one's shortcomings; this is not easy. Therefore, most pastors and church members prioritize human doctrines, follow fleshly thoughts, and do not even repent; this is walking the wide road and the way to hell. Many church members love worldly honor, money, and fleshly pleasures more than the words of Jesus and do not repent. This is crucifying the words of Jesus.

Heaven must receive him until the time comes for God to restore everything, as he promised long ago through his holy prophets. For Moses said, ‘The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among your own people; you must listen to everything he tells you. Anyone who does not listen to him will be completely cut off from their people.’ Indeed, beginning with Samuel, all the prophets who have spoken have foretold these days.
What the eternal God promised through Moses and many prophets is that Jesus Christ would come into the world in the future. Moses could not see Jesus Christ coming into the world. However, he proclaimed that fact through divine inspiration. Through Moses, God led the Israelite people out of Egypt and gave them the Ten Commandments through him. Since Moses in the Old Testament era, many prophets arose; all of them led and taught the Israelites through the Ten Commandments received through Moses. Moses proclaimed this before many prophets arose: "A special prophet will arise among the Israelites. Anyone who listens to his words will live, and those who do not listen will die." This was spoken by pointing to Jesus Christ who was to come. Those who hear the gospel preached by Jesus, repent, and obey will receive salvation, and those who disobey His words and do not repent will not be saved. Since the beginning of the Old Testament era, Moses revealed that Jesus Christ is the only Savior of mankind. God revealed that through the blood of Jesus alone, all mankind is redeemed from sin. However, in the Old Testament era, Jesus had not yet come into the world. Since the blood of Jesus was not yet available, the blood of countless animals was sprinkled on the altar, and it replaced the blood of Jesus to forgive human sins. After Jesus died on the cross, animal blood no longer needed to be sprinkled on the altar. The reason is that animal blood does not have the power to fundamentally forgive human sins. The animal blood sprinkled on the altar during the Old Testament era served as a substitute for the blood of Jesus until Jesus came. The sacrificial laws of the Old Testament era foreshadowed that Jesus would die on the cross in place of the sins of mankind. Jesus Christ, the reality of salvation, has come into the world. The shadow that symbolized this no longer needs to exist. The animal blood of the Old Testament era forgave the sins of the people by relying on the blood of Jesus who was to come. It was never that the animal blood itself had the power to forgive human sins. The Ten Commandments delivered by Moses were also a shadow of the gospel that Jesus would later deliver. Throughout the entire Old and New Testaments, the Savior is Jesus Christ alone, and only the words of Jesus are the way of life.

And you are heirs of the prophets and of the covenant God made with your fathers. He said to Abraham, ‘Through your offspring all peoples on earth will be blessed.’ When God raised up his servant, he sent him first to you to bless you by turning each of you from your wicked ways.
"The servant" refers to Jesus Christ. Why was Jesus Christ described as a "servant"? Isaiah 52:13: "See, my servant will act wisely; he will be raised and lifted up and highly exalted." Isaiah 53:11: "...my righteous servant will justify many, and he will bear their iniquities." In this way, the Messiah Jesus Christ was depicted as the servant of Jehovah. Jesus came into the world in the name of the servant or son of Jehovah, and He completely obeyed God's word to redeem mankind from sin and destruction. Therefore, He made it so that anyone who repents can receive salvation. God sent His servant (Jesus) into the world to save mankind and give them blessings. The blessing mentioned here is not primarily gaining worldly money, health, and fame. It is first obtaining eternal life as everyone abandons wickedness and obeys the Lord's words. To those who walk the path of eternal life, the Lord also gives blessings belonging to the world. Everyone must first repent and receive forgiveness of sins and become a child of God. Only then does one receive health and blessings belonging to the earth. The seed God promised to Abraham is Jesus Christ, and the offspring of the woman mentioned in Genesis. Jesus Christ came into the world to turn all mankind from sin and give them life and blessings. That Jesus Christ is God Himself who came into the world clothed in human flesh. John 1:14: "The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth." Isaiah 9:6: "For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace." Genesis 3:15: "And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel."

Then know this, you and all the people of Israel: It is by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified but whom God raised from the dead, that this man stands before you healed. Jesus is ‘the stone you builders rejected, which has become the cornerstone.’ Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.
To believe in God is to construct a house of faith; one must not have that house collapse when trials come to receive salvation. A house built on sand collapses when the wind blows and the floods come because it has no foundation. A life of faith built on the rock never collapses. To attend church while believing in human doctrines is a house built on sand. To lead a life of faith believing in the words of Jesus is a house built on the rock. Jesus is the eternal foundation that does not shake; human theories or doctrines are weak foundations that cannot withstand even a small impact. The chief priests, elders, and the people of Israel, who claimed to believe in God well, rejected Jesus, the cornerstone, and believed in doctrines made by humans. They were soon destroyed by the Roman army. This is the collapse of a house of faith built on sand. A vain faith that is completely useless before the Lord has no value to exist. Today, many pastors and church members discard the words of the Bible and follow doctrines made by humans. Such Christians have a fake faith and will become like the destroyed chief priests, elders, and people of Israel. Our faith must be based only on the words of Jesus. There is no other name under heaven to save mankind except Jesus. All other names are fake. One must believe in Jesus as the only Savior, follow Jesus' words to forgive one another, abandon idols, pride, and evil, and always strive to achieve harmony with neighbors; doing so is building a house on the rock. However, we are always lacking. Therefore, we must always live repenting. Rising up daily despite one's shortcomings is the faith that goes to heaven.
